The Puerto Rico Community Development Entity (PRCDE), a newly launched organization dedicated to supporting large-scale economic development projects in Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands, along with The National Puerto Rican Chamber of Commerce, invites Puerto Rico’s business community to an insightful session on how to leverage New Market Tax Credit (NMTC) Equity Investments, often structured as a “forgivable grant.”

This session will offer an overview of how qualifying projects of $20 million or more, located within approved low-income census tracts, can access NMTC funding to drive economic growth and community revitalization. This is an excellent opportunity for project developers, nonprofit leaders, financial institutions, investors, and community stakeholders seeking innovative financing strategies that promote job creation, essential services, and long-term impact in underserved communities.
